Dimitra Perdiou - Member ihe Steering Committee

Dimitra Perdiou – Member ihe Steering Committee

Dimitra believes that artists have an entirely different view of the world. They see more swirling shapes rather than flat surfaces. Her vision is to be able to observe the artist world through her own hands of creation. This is the main reason why she has done a foundation course on Art Media and Design and then a BA (Hons) Graphic Communication at the University of Creative Arts, Surrey.

She has also completed an MA Design Education at the University of London, Goldsmiths. Dimitra’s research interests are based on the interaction of designing and learning, and more specifically on how learning might reinvigorate designing and how designing might reinvigorate learning.

Her doctoral research is investigating design thinking and process among undergraduate graphic design students. She is interested in unpacking the process and then through action research to implement an instructional intervention.
